Rehabilitation of the Findel runway: mission accomplished!
A look back at the rehabilitation of the Findel runway. An unprecedented project for the airport which was successfully completed.
The second and final season of the Findel runway renovation project has just been completed. This mission was carried out by the Somo Findel Airport - regrouping the companies Félix Giorgetti, Colas, Karp Kneip Construction and JDC Airport - and was successfully accomplished thanks to excellent teamwork and a flawless mobilisation.
In total, 200 nights were needed to completely renew the 4 km of runway at Luxembourg Airport and install a new water drainage system and airport lighting.
