The foundation stone laid for Losch's future head office

Last April, Losch Luxembourg laid the foundation stone for its new head office, which was designed by Félix Giorgetti.

In Kockelscheuer, allée Louis Ackerman in the commune of Roser, Felix Giorgetti launched the construction of Losch's new headquarters last March. Located alongside Cube 4T8 - Losch's innovation centre - the 9,772 m2, three-storey office building is designed to accommodate 300 people, with two levels of basement parking.

What's more, as the head office has been designed with sustainability in mind, we will be incorporating geothermal energy, a photovoltaic system and a rainwater recovery system into the head office.

 Impeccable execution

What's special about this project? The majority of the building is in architectural concrete, which means that the walls will be left exposed. The quality of the concrete and its execution must therefore be impeccable. Of the 7,253 m3 of concrete, 4,560 m3 will be made from visible concrete.

Reactivity and mobilisation

The challenge also lies in the schedule, since the shell of the building must be completed by the end of the year. That's just nine months after work began. "In order to keep to the schedule, we've increased the number of staff and the quantity of materials. We're all fully committed to the success of this project," says François-Paul Gioria, project manager.

See you in a few months to see the results of this great project!
