Construction of the 140 m viaduct for the Lorentzweiler interchange

This impressive viaduct is made up of two aprons, each 14.50m wide.

Located on the right bank of the Alzette, at the foot of the Kummersbierg, the Lorentzweiler interchange serves the inhabitants of the Alzette valley by providing access to the A7 motorway. The viaduct is a 140m-long structure, including two decks with a width of 14.50m each.

The construction plans had to take into account the intersecting motorway and RN7 national road, as well as the Luxembourg - Mersch - Ettelbruck railway line.
