Spectacular Convoy in Hosingen

During the nights of 6 and 8 October, two 54-metre-long beams were delivered to the Hosingen bypass construction site, carried out by Félix Giorgetti in partnership with Mabilux and Luxport.

Their destination: the biotope crossing, one of the eight engineering structures forming part of this new 4.4 km road. Featuring a composite steel and concrete structure, the crossing rests on two abutments and spans more than 50 metres. It will cross the Weschbichsbaach stream, which will also undergo ecological restoration.

After passing through the tunnel of the new covered cutting, the beams were transported to the site and installed a few hours later using a 650-tonne Superlift mobile crane, specially suited to this exceptional operation.

A spectacular milestone showcasing the precision, coordination and expertise of the teams working on this major construction project!
